This policy explains the cookies placed on your device and similar records kept in your browser’s local storage when you visit our website at izmircanhastanesi.com, the purposes for which they are used and how you can manage your preferences. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that the website you visit saves on your device through your browser. Local storage (localStorage) similarly allows information to be stored only in your browser. How is your consent obtained?
A cookie notice is displayed on your first visit to our site. Until you choose one of the Accept all, Reject all or Preferences options, no non-essential cookies are placed and no video, map or measurement code is loaded. Rejecting does not prevent you from using the basic functions of the site.
Records we use
Essential records
These are required for the site to work and do not depend on consent. These records are kept only in your browser and are not sent to our servers.

Video and map content
When you give permission, YouTube videos and the Google Maps embed are loaded. This content is provided by Google, and Google may place its own cookies (e.g. VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC, NID). If you do not give permission, this content is not loaded.
Analytics cookies
When you give permission, Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity are used to understand and improve how the site is used. These tools collect information such as the pages visited, the duration of the visit, the areas clicked and the source from which the site was reached.

Third parties and transfers abroad
The servers of the third-party services above (Google, Microsoft, Meta, Cloudflare) may be located abroad. These services operate only if you give permission for the relevant category (except for essential security services), and the data they collect are subject to their own privacy policies.
Managing your preferences
- You can reopen the preferences panel using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page, and change or withdraw your consent at any time.
- You can delete stored cookies and site data, or block cookies entirely, in your browser settings. If you block essential records, your preferences will not be remembered.
