İzmir Can Hastanesi

The foundations of İzmir Özel Can Hastanesi were laid in 2002 in Salihli, Manisa, by experienced specialist physicians with the vision of “pioneering positive firsts in individual and public health.”

Salihli Özel Can Hastanesi received its TÜV-CERT quality certificate in 2008. In 2016, with a capacity of 127 inpatient beds, it earned a respected place in the region as a “Reference Hospital,” the first and only hospital in Manisa to offer level III adult and neonatal intensive care.

With a forward-looking vision for healthcare, Can Hastanesi decided to expand its services and brought “new life to İzmir” on 20 December 2017.

İzmir Özel Can Hastanesi serves patients in Çiğli with 9 operating rooms, 12 neonatal, 23 adult and 1 coronary intensive care beds, a total capacity of 76 beds and more than 400 staff.

Quality Management Unit

In line with the Ministry of Health’s service quality standards, our hospital has established a Quality Management Unit that works within the framework of the Ministry of Health’s Healthcare Quality Standards (SKS), and has started work in line with national and international quality standards.

İzmir Can Hastanesi complies with the Healthcare Quality Standards, which were created—regardless of whether an institution is public, private or a university hospital—to bring service standards closer together, lay the groundwork for sharing experience between institutions and establish a national quality system in healthcare.

Our Quality Certificates

İzmir Can Hastanesi is a member of the Association of Private Hospitals and Healthcare Institutions (OHSAD).

İzmir Özel Can Hastanesi was awarded the title of “Baby-Friendly Hospital” for its successful breastfeeding practices under the Ministry of Health’s “Promotion of Breastfeeding and Baby-Friendly Healthcare Institutions” programme. (2019)

İzmir Özel Can Hastanesi scored 98.36 out of 100 in the Healthcare Quality Standards (SKS) assessment carried out every year across Türkiye by the Ministry of Health. Message from Our Chairman of the Board

“Possible with you…”

Since our founding in 2002, we have worked with our mission “to offer our services to protect and improve human health as a whole, with a uniqueness and continuity that create value for everyone” and our vision “to pioneer positive firsts in individual and public health.” On this journey, which we began 15 years ago as Salihli Özel Can Hastanesi, we are excited and proud to have grown into CAN SAĞLIK GRUBU (Can Health Group).

Under the CAN SAĞLIK GRUBU umbrella, we serve through “OUR HEALTHCARE INSTITUTIONS” in Salihli and İzmir—soon to be joined by a third—with a focus on children and women, and through our social responsibility projects under the “CAN SOSYAL” banner. Guided by the principle that everything good and beautiful is possible, İzmir Can Hastanesi plays a decisive role in many social initiatives as well as providing high-quality healthcare.

Throughout our history, we have emphasised that health is a holistic process and that restoring well-being is not enough—protecting it matters too. That is why we take an active part in every area of individual and public health, and we will continue to do so with all our expertise and achievements. We are inspired by the care and trust shown to us by our community and by those we serve.
