- This training, given by Professor Richard S. Tyler, covered the positive effects of hearing aids on tinnitus. Information was provided on music, sound and sleep therapy used in tinnitus treatment. Why group therapy is needed for patients in the same situation was discussed. Richard Tyler shared his practices, experiences and methods with tinnitus cases. How tinnitus can be masked and the success rates of its treatment were discussed.
